The future appears to be promising! Bowers Kidseum is proud to present Future Park: Art + Technology, a traveling exhibition created in conjunction with Team Lab Kids, Inc. Kids collaborate and play together utilizing their imaginations, art, and technology in this one-of-a-kind digital playground. This hands-on, digital exhibit contains 4 separate interactive spaces for kids to play in order to spark creative thinking, increase team play, and develop an interest in digital technology.

Sketch Town

Paint the town a vibrant shade of red, blue, or green! Children construct a wonderful virtual metropolis bursting with life by drawing vivid illustrations of automobiles, buses, buildings, and much more. The village is projected from floor to ceiling on huge exhibit walls and responds to the child’s touch. The drawings of the youngsters can also be turned into a 3-D papercraft model that they can bring home.

Light Ball Orchestra

The Light Ball Orchestra is a visual and auditory delight! Rolling soft, huge balls that are nearly the same size as the kids can perform in an elaborate orchestra! When the gigantic orbs touch and interact with one another to play in concert, they alter sound and color.

Connecting! Block Town

All roads lead to adventure and fun! Kids make digital thoroughfares for automobiles, boats, trains, and planes using various vividly colored blocks on a table that transforms into a large-scale screen! Soon, the cityscape comes to life as children collaborate to build working roads and railways that cross each other as cars pass by.

Hopscotch for Geniuses

Let’s get started! This interactive route interacts with music and colors when youngsters use their complete bodies to play. It features gorgeous artwork, shapes, and designs displayed on the floor. This is the ideal activity for active bodies and minds! (Source: bowers.org)
