THE TECHWASTE STORY

Since 1998, partners Richard Steffens and Isaac Villeneuve, have focused on the reuse and recycling of electronic materials to minimize impacts on our environment. As water men from Huntington Beach, CA they had a vision of making a positive impact on helping the environment. In 2002, together, they launched TechWaste Recycling to help companies and organizations maintain environmental compliance and manage their e-waste downstream inputs. Since then, they have never looked back and are proud of the environmental preservation contributions TechWaste Recycling makes. With nearly 20 years of experience in computer electronics, Isaac and Richie have developed TechWaste as a company that helps businesses and organizations incorporate and maintain various electronic disposition & management strategies for equipment reaching retirement.

RICHARD STEFFENS

Founder

As Chief Executive Officer for TechWaste Recycling, Richard is uniquely dedicated to the overall strategy and performance of the company. As well as executing TechWaste’s growth management plan, Richard’s duties also include business development and production management.

He works towards growing the business into new markets and partnering with many fortune 500 companies in collaboration with implementing electronics recycling and IT Asset Disposition programs tailored to fit the needs, requirements, and goals of each company.

Richard attended the University of California, Santa Barbara.

ISAAC VILLENEUVE

Founder

Isaac has a unique approach to the technology industry business because of his many years of experience in working in computer hardware and e-commerce.

As a TechWaste Recycling founder, Isaac has always been dedicated to helping the environment and been instrumental in using his knowledge of repurposing and finding the right channels for giving equipment a second chance at life.

In conjunction, Isaac currently fills the role as Chief Financial Officer while he oversees many of the company’s operations related to maximizing revenues and decreasing costs.

Isaac enjoys the beach, surfing, vacations in Costa Rica and spending time with his wife and daughter.

STEPHANIE NUNEZ

R2v3 Account Manager

As Account Manager for IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services, Stephanie is responsible for developing and managing the corporate accounts for TechWaste Recycling, LLC.

From meeting the immediate needs and long-term goals for ITAD, to helping clients reduce their carbon footprint, to identifying ways to maximize value for clients, Stephanie works to help minimize the amount of electronic waste being accumulated in landfills on a national and global scale.

Stephanie started her career at TechWaste Recycling in 2012 as a Electronic Waste and Recycling Consultant in Santa Ana, Ca and later has advanced to Account Manager where she has successfully cultivated 1000’s of client relationships and managed 100’s of ITAD clients. Stephanie has attended Business School in Latin America for Business and Finance.
