Laguna Hills is a city in Orange County, California, United States. Its name refers to its proximity to Laguna Canyon and the much older Laguna Beach. Other newer cities nearby—Laguna Niguel and Laguna Woods—are similarly named. The City has a population of 30,344 as reported by the 2010 United States Census.

The City was incorporated in 1991, while annexing the North Laguna Hills area in 1996 and adding a residential area to the west in 2000.

Located where the Interstate 5 freeway splits into the 405 (The El Toro ‘Y’), the city of Laguna Hills is home to some of Orange County’s best medical facilities, the Laguna Hills Mall and many fine restaurants. It is one of the best places to live in Orange County, California. In Laguna Hills, there are a lot of coffee shops and parks. Many young professionals live in the city and its residents tend to have moderate political views. The public schools in Laguna Hills are also highly rated.
